Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my organization is eligible to receive a donation from IFIP?

In order to be eligible for a donation your organization must be a registered tax-deductible 501(c)(3) and must be operating or have a partner organization operating within the United States. Lastly, organizations must be working to provide services that further at least one of our commitment areas.

Is the IFIP a political organization?

No. IFIP is a philanthropic organization, and our nonprofit partners are 501(c)(3) organizations with no political agenda or intentions.

How often do RFPs change?

RFPs can change annually based on our donors' evolving philanthropic priorities and the needs of the communities we serve. We recommend checking our website and staying in touch for the latest updates.

Can I apply for or receive a gift from IFIP two years in a row?

Yes, you can apply multiple years in a row.

Why are Israel/Palestine written together?

Because for us, healing and coexistence are only possible when both are part of the conversation. Writing Israel/Palestine together reflects the same commitment that drives our work in the region: bringing people together rather than further apart.

How do I apply to an RFP?

Our RFPs open at different times throughout the year. Nonprofits on our mailing list will be notified by email when an RFP is open. To view current opportunities, visit our pages for the United States, Israel/Palestine, and Mexico.

If I am aligned with multiple RFPs, can I apply for more than one at a time?

Yes, you can apply for multiple RFPs but your organization can only receive one gift per year.

Are all states eligible to apply for a donation from IFIP?

All states are eligible unless specially noted otherwise within the RFP.

Why operate in Mexico, USA, and Israel/Palestine?

Our donors support areas they feel passionate about and have a personal connection to.
